Saturday 28th

Great day last weekend in Mandurah. The car is gleaming and ready for Sunday 29th. Lots of interest in the V 12 engine and a steady stream of admirers. 

Bindoon Historic Vehicle day

Tuesday 17th

Great day out with the Jaguar Car Club with a very picturesque drive through the Chittering Valley area before arriving at Bindoon. Several hundred beautiful vehicles on display on the Bindoon oval were enjoyed by hundreds of spectators. Perfect weather and a great venue. The E type behaved perfectly and attracted plenty of interest.

Wednesday 11th

Just looking back at a few old pictures of the e type when it first arrived. What a transformation from a wreck to the beautiful car it is today. Needless to say it took a lot more time and money than I could have ever imagined. Not long now until I get to show it off in a good cause.

Thursday 8th

Just finished installing a new windscreen in the E type to replace the original one which was badly pitted. After 2 years of trying to source one in Australia I finally ordered one from the UK. The car is going to look great for the Distinguished gentleman's drive.

Saturday 27th

Finally completed the installation of new V band clamps on the exhaust of the E type. These replace the leaking 3 bolt flanges and are a vast improvement.

Getting behind the wheel for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive

Friday 26th On Sunday, September 29th 2024, I'll be taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive. Together with thousands of classic car enthusiasts around the world, I will be raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health for the charity, Movember.

Before the dapper day, I'll be looking to raise as much as possible for the cause, to help men around the world live happier and healthier lives. With men's chances of developing prostate cancer later in life increasing, and one man dying every minute by suicide, we must do all we can to prevent more men from suffering.

This is something that affects us all and together, we can make a change. Please give what you can.
