Dear Gentlefolks,

We would like to welcome you to our 2nd Annual Distinguished Gentleman Drive in Beirut, thank you for registering to participate in this spectacular event, where we’ll celebrate the beauty and craftsmanship of classic cars! Below is important information to help you prepare for the event and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Meeting point will be in Metropole Parking Beirut at 8:30am, where coffee, water, and cold beverages will be served while ushers will be there to help you with the badges, car stickers, photos, and you will get the chance to meet and greet other drivers and view their beautiful cars. Arrival parking instructions will be shared prior to the event day. 

Departure time will be at 10:00am.

It's also important to note that this is a themed event, so please arrive in style! The dress code is dapper, so start planning your suit and tie, dress, and shoes.

Our drive will be through the beautiful scenic roads of Chouf, road conditions are very good and suitable for classic cars with very mild bumps and potholes and not too many tight roads and corners. We will be accompanied by police and municipality escort for most of the drive, and we will have ambulances, first-aid, and road assistance vehicles and tow trucks. Drive and safety rules and guidelines will be shared with everyone.

Expected weather conditions for now is plenty of sunshine, with temperatures of 27deg in Beirut and 23deg in Sawfar with 0% probability of rain.

LBCI will be accompanying us and covering our whole event, and we will also have a professional photographer accompanying our ride to take photos, videos and drone shots.  All pictures will be shared on Facebook, Instagram and a google drive link, so we also encourage you to share your event experience on social media using the hashtag #DGD24 #Gentlemansdrive #lebanonclassicdrivers. Don’t forget to tag us and show off your car!

There will be one pitstop in Deir El Qamar at around 11:00am, for regrouping, car break, coffee break, and some pictures.

The Destination Venue will be the breathtaking Dona Maria Sursock Gardens in Sawfar, we're expected to arrive at around 12:30pm where there will be toilets, resting tables and chairs, live cooking food stations, coffee, beverages, and drinks. Drivers will be able to enjoy music and live entertainment peformances from renowned artists and a DJ, in addition to competitions and awards and other surprises. 

We will also have keynote speakers for prostate cancer awareness along with road and driving safety instructions.

The event is estimated to end at around 3:30pm-4:00pm.
