I finally made my first Facebook post about the upcoming drive last night. I want to send my profound thanks out to Jennifer Johnson Baskerville for supporting my idea of dedicating this drive to the memory of her husband Victor. Her support – and her sharing of my journey with her Facebook circle – has helped jump start my fundraising dramatically in just one day. Thank you, Jen!

Getting behind the wheel for The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive
On Sunday, September 27th, 2026, I plan to once again to be a part of the Distinguished Gentleman's Drive. This will be the fourth year in a row I will be participating. [And yes, despite their name, they somehow still let me be a part of it.] The DGD is an annual event, and involves hundreds of different groups in cities all around the world on the same day. The drive raises funds and awareness for men's health issues. All participating vehicles must be at least forty years old, and drivers (and passengers) are encouraged to "dress dapper" and/or dress in period appropriate attire. We are less than ten weeks out from the 2026 drive. I will once again be driving with the Leesburg, Virginia group. The Leesburg drive had one of the largest turnouts in the world in 2025. Last year, there were over sixty countries participating.
