Stinky Old Car

I am starting my 3rd drive and as long as my old Mustang keeps ticking over, I will keep contributing to the Distinguished Gentlemen's Drive. I have been through my struggles in the past with Mental Health, I came through it with help of my beautiful wife and close friends and family. I am so happy that an event like this to raise money for Men's Mental Health exists, I think that over the past 10 years or so with the RUOK campaign and Beyond Blue it is much easier for guys to reach out for help. This year my father was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, through some radiation treatment and he is doing well. Hopefully soon we will get the results and the all clear. Another great reason to support a drive like this. When Janelle (wife) said I should look at getting my dream car, 64.5 Mustang, I nearly had a heart attack. If I ever feel a little down, I know that a drive in, what my wife calls, The Stinky Old Car, will put a smile on my face. Even better with Janelle by my side. It takes work to keep them on the road, and I love being able to work on it with my brother-in-law. He has the skill; I just have the love of the car. I hope everyone has a great drive, and I look forward to seeing all the smiles.

I'm Driving for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive

On Sunday the 27th of September 2026, I'm driving in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my shoes, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
