Passenger Princesses for a purpose

On Sunday, September 29th 2024, Tessa and Gillian will be taking part in the crucial role of passenger princesses in The Distinguished Gentleman's Drive.

Together with thousands of classic car enthusiasts (so us - actually, we prefer hiking) around the world, we will be raising funds and awareness for Movember.

Our dear friend, Kip McIntyre, has been organising this event in Brisvegas for the past 4 years, and over that time participants in the Brisbane drive alone have raised about $90k for men's mental health and cancer research. The goal this year is to hit the cumulative $100,000 fundraising mark for the Brisbane drive!

As fundraisers by trade, we couldn't possibly leave that to the gentle rev heads...

This year, we're being extremely helpful by frocking up (the "distinguished" part) and then sitting in a nice, vintage car as someone with a manual license drives us (the "drive" part) about 90km to a pub in the name of men's mental health support and prostate cancer. While this doesn't sound like a particularly challenging day for us (the "gentlewomen"), know that we'll be responsible for tunes, snacks and content.

Before the dapper day, we'll be looking to raise as much as possible for the cause to help them crack the $100k, so please support us, our mate Kip and this great event that gets gentlemen talking and fundraising for their health and wellbeing.
